Marybelle Williams Fund

Marybelle Williams was the widow of Glenn H. Williams, retired president of the Capitol Machine Company. She directed in her will that half of the income from this fund benefit the Columbus Medical Research Foundation, of which her husband was a cofounder and chairman emeritus. The remaining income provides scholarship assistance for needy adult students 25 years of age and older. The total amount available is divided between OSU, Otterbein, Ohio Dominican, Franklin, Columbus State, and Capital. It is to support the Marybelle Williams Scholarships for Franklin County students who are over 25 years old, pursuing a degree, and in need of financial assistance.

Eligibility Criteria:
•Candidates must be Franklin County residents.
•Candidates must be pursuing a degree at one of the following institutions: The Ohio State University, Ohio Dominican University, Otterbein University, Franklin University, Columbus State Community College, or Capital University.
•Must be enrolled at least 6 credit hours.
•Candidates must demonstrate financial need.
