Weiler Scholars Program
The Weiler Scholars Program provides a unique combination of scholarship, mentorship, and support services to remove barriers to education and help our students succeed. With the support of the program, and other aid resources such as the federal Pell Grant, Weiler Scholars can earn their associate degree at Columbus State debt free! Students can receive up to $5,388/year scholarship for up to two years (4 semesters total) follow the link to the program website to apply for the program.
This program is for recent high school graduates who desire to earn an associate degree from Columbus State, then transfer on to earn a bachelor’s degree.

- Did you graduate from a Central Ohio high school in the 2023/2024 academic year?
- Is your final high school GPA a 2.75 or above? (Please send a copy of your transcript of an official transcript or provide documentation to verify your GPA to CSCC, and via email to weilerscholars@cscc.edu
- Have you completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)?
- Are you planning to enroll full time (12 credits) in an associate degree (AA/AS) program at Columbus State Community College?
- Do you intend to graduate from CSCC and immediately transfer to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor's degree?
- Are you a first-generation college student (i.e., neither of your parents have completed a four-year college degree)?
