Description: To commemorate the life of Columbus State alumnus and Grandview Paramedic John M. McCormac, by providing financial assistance to students enrolled in Columbus State’s Paramedic Certification Program.
Use: Tuition, Fees and Books
Eligible Program(s) of Study: Emergency Medical Services, Fire Science and related degree programs
College GPA: 3.0 cum, minimum
Credit Hour Completion Requirement: Must have completed 15 credit hours
Enrollment Requirement: Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credit hours at the time that the award is applied to your student account for the specific semester.
Reference(s): Student must provide one reference from a current CSCC EMT Faculty member.
FAFSA: A valid FAFSA for the current academic year must be on file to be considered for this opportunity.
Additional Requirement(s): Note: If awarded, the scholarship will be split Autumn and Spring semesters only.
